Certified stones
Simply a certificate, with passport like details of the stone every flaw, inclusion colour all stated normally a detailed pictures showing what where and what.
Should be either G.I.A, G.A. or G.B no doubt there are some other decent European ones too a blog full of initials might be a bit dull. What we are trying to say is from a world recognised gemological institute, whilst your local jobbing jeweller even in deepest Delhi could tell you what what a certified stones needs to be from one of the to recognised institutes otherwise not worth the paper written on.
However its an aid to selling not a guarantee and really thousands of perfectly good stones are available for purchase with out paperwork.
As a general rule I would hope for a certificate to come with a larger stone over a carat in size in the case of diamonds.
