Blended
Out and about saw a shop with "blended antiques with modern decorative". What that meant was large lumps of off white painted furniture with newly made items from China and Indonesia.
Of course its hard finding the real thing, well at least you cant order it in by the pallet full.
We have 50 dealers, 25 with their own rooms doing there own thing, meaning if you like rugs you go to the rug mans room or period oak and country antiques, Tim Owens room.
Of course there also is no doubt about the authenticity of our items as all properly stated, we do have vintage but items that are vintage not vintage looking, we find it strange that the manufactures actually make these modern items to look old and distressed.
Funny enough many antiques actually are not rusty and worn at all.
