Delft Ceramic Blue & White Tile Depicting Lady In Rural Scene Antique Victorian c1900, this was our listers guess, well close I guess give or take 100 years, as I say we check our listing on www.topbanaanantiques.com
A delft plate dutch late 18th early 19th century but when a menial, not always easy to realise just how old and treasured some of our stock is and a lot here for not a lot too.
These tiles were very popular as interior decoration as with tapestry brought over from Holland and Belgium particular in large country houses, and at a time when many artisans came over due to religious and political persecution.
