Anglo Indian
Sounds like the latest in a huge oil corporation from Assam.
Actually its a marriage of Indian style and design made for the Anglo or English / European market.
In particular in the early 19th and early 20th century when another revival started folks return to Blighty after their colonial service, wanted furniture jewellery etc made in India but in the European taste of course as with all things in a marriage of cultures its own unique design was created.
Now a very popular area in its own right, particularly with furniture etc with its abstract swirls and sunburst designs.
