Ahern books introducing Daniel Ahern and Beth Dean @topbananaantiques

Top Banana Antiques has recently welcomed a new outlet of Daniel Ahern Books into our Tetbury shop. Owned by Dan Ahern and Beth Dean, the business buys and sells antique, rare and collectable books from all genres but specialises in architecture, garden design and natural history.

Dan started bookselling at the age of 16, touring PBFA book fairs with his parents, Elizabeth and Alan Ahern (Ivelet Books in Redhill and Godalming). He remembers his first book fair sale, buying a copy of Georgina Masson's Italian Gardens and selling it later that day for a £25 profit... he was hooked!

Current books available in Top Banana include a five-volume set of Henry Moore's bibliography, a fine copy of Helen Allingham's Cottage Homes of England (limited edition) and parts of Benjamin Maund's Botanic Garden (1840).

Daniel Ahern Books are also selling a number of pieces of art including a pair of framed prints from the Duke of Newcastle's Manual on Horsemanship, 1733 and a signed limited edition print by Donald Watson.
