This scarce and original early 20th century political medal for the 'Union & Tariff Reform Women's Association'. Made from blue, white and red enamel and gilt metal in the form of an eight pointed star with a 'Union Flag' to the centre enclosed on all four sides by the titles "Australia" "New Zealand" "South Africa" and "Canada"; to the lower point of the star "India"; with additional scroll to the top that reads  "Womens Association" and below "Union & Tariff Reform" on the the reverse there is an early maker's details that read "W.O.Lewis Howard St. Birmm.". Offered in very good condition, complete with original silk ribbon and pin fittings.
