Fabulous forget me not flower detail to the front of this antique English sterling silver vesta case or match safe holder dating from the Edwardian era. At this time most people smoked so dry matches were a must. The English silver marks can be seen to the inside rim, Birmingham assay with the date letter for the year 1903, this is where you also see the makers mark for William Henry Sparrow. Good hinge to open and shuts securely. Good detailing please see the pictures. A wonderful antique vesta.
