Simply charming vintage tortoise brooch or pin dating from the Art Deco period made from sterling silver marcasite with a mother of pearl shell. Made in France and marked to the rear along with a very small silver mark. All the marcasite studs are present, green cabochon paste eyes, the mother of pearl is also in good order. Good secure clasp and pin. A wonderful and charming animal brooch.
