Charming Thomas L Mott pendant or charm made during the time of the 2nd World War as an affordable sweetheart love token. There are 12 in the series one for each month of the year each with a different flower, this one shows the pansy for the month of May. The pansy also has the additional meaning of 'forget me not' in the language of flowers.
The sterling silver & makers mark can be found to the rear at the base, it is also marked 'England'. Unfortunately there is a little damage to the yellow base petal see pictures. It is of a great size & could be worn from a bracelet as a charm or from a necklace as a pendant.
