Tea Strainer & Stand English Sterling Silver Antique 1917 Edwardian



Dating from a time when drinking tea was a national pastime, this is a fantastic antique English sterling silver tea strainer & stand dating from the Edwardian period. It is for an individual cup. To the front is the rooster or cockerel family crest, please see the pictures, good crisp detailing. The hallmark can be found to the other side of the base but the mark to the strainer is rubbed & can no longer be read, Birmingham assay office along with the date letter for the year 1917.
