Full of history, this is a fantastic 9ct yellow gold dangling pendant necklace set with seed pearls, amethyst & peridot dating from the Edwardian era.
This is a time in British history when women were fighting for the right to vote & The Suffragette Movement was born. To enable like minded ladies to easily identify themselves to each other, they would wear 3 colours, in their clothes, scarves & even jewellery. The green represented the word 'give', white for 'women' & violet for 'vote'. Often in jewellery the stones used were green peridot, white seed pearls & violet amethyst as is the case with this necklace.
The gold mark can be found to the bolt ring clasp, this reads '9k'. The stones have been tested as real, all are present, in good order & colour please see the pictures. Good secure bolt ring clasp with a good spring.
