Suffragette 9k Gold Dangling Pendant Lavalier or Brooch Pin Antique Edwardian c1910.



Full of history, this is a fantastic 9ct yellow gold pendant or brooch pin in the Suffragette colours dating from the Edwardian era when women were fighting to be heard with the right to vote. Women would wear the colours green, white & violet so other like minded ladies could identify each other easily. The green had the meaning 'give', the white 'women' & violet 'vote'.
The gold mark can be found to the rear, this simply reads '9ct' The stones are paste, they are great colours & resemble the real stones well, please see the pictures. There is minor rounding to the edges & a slight darkening to the see pearls, again please see the pictures.
To the rear there is a hook bale meaning it could be worn as a pendant as well as a clasp & pin allowing you to wear as a brooch pin.
Size 4.3 x 3.2 cm or 1.7 x 1.2 inches.
Weight 2.6 grams or 1.625 penny weight.
