Sterling Silver Watch Chain Necklace 39.5cm / 15.5" Antique Victorian c1890.

Traditionally used by a gentleman to hang his pocket watch from his jacket or waistcoat, but today converted into a necklace or bracelet, this is a fantastic sterling silver watch chain dating from the late Victorian period. This is indeed long enough to be worn as a necklace. To the one end is a dog clip clasp, to the other a huge bolt ring clasp.
There are 2 silver lion marks to the links, one either end of the chain, these are the only metal marks I can see. Good secure clasp at either end, both have good springs.

Width of chain 1.0 cm or 0.4 inches.
Diameter of bolt ring 2.0 cm or 0.8 inches.
