Sterling Silver Watch Chain Bracelet Necklace Antique Victorian c1890.



Traditionally worn by a gentleman to hang his pocket watch from his jacket or waistcoat, but today converted to be warn as a necklace or bracelet, this is a fantastic sterling silver curb link watch chain dating from the late Victorian period. To the one end is a huge bolt ring clasp to the other a dog clip clasp.
The bolt ring clasp is marked 'sterling', there is also a mark to the last link of the chain, this is much harder to read, it may read '835' for 835 grade silver, please see pictures. Both the bolt ring clasp & dog clip clasps are secure with good springs.
