Antique Late Victorian Period Circa 1880's Top Quality Carved Satin Walnut Trove Style Lock Box finished with Brass Mounts in a Gothic Style, the mounts including pierced budded details, floral scrolling and Fleur-Dy-Lys Terminals, the front centre to the box has ornate lock escutcheon with original lever lock and key in working order allowing to use the box for a variety of uses as seen fit, there currently being no fittings to the interior so the box has a lot of possibilities, finished to the dome arched lid to the box is a hinged carry handle completing the piece nicely.

The Box is in well preserved condition, is without rot or worm and stands 16 cm tall with a width and breadth of 22 cm and 11.5 cm respectively.
A Handsome antique piece, very decorative as well as very useable.
