Simply charming & from a very collectable maker this is a great sterling silver brooch pin by Ola M. Gorie from the 1970's.
Ola Gorie jewellery was founded in 1960 in Kirkwall on the island of Orkney in the North Atlantic. Influences are the Scottish Celtic, Norse, Scottish Glasgow and contemporary. The brand is now  one of Britain's leading jewellery companies, winning many prestigious awards, and Ola Gorie was herself recently awarded the MBE.
The maker & sterling silver mark can be found to the rear. Good secure clasp & pin. There is also a bale ring to the rear so could be worn as a pendant from a chain necklace.
Size 3.6 x 2.5 cm or 1.4 x 1.0 inches.
Weight 6.6 grams or 4.125 penny weight.
