Antique Late18th Century Georgian period Top Quality Marrow low marked Scoop in Sterling Silver, of a traditional design after the Old English Pattern featuring double channelled terminals so as to serve for when whittling out marrow from a bone the scoop is vacant of embellishment or engravings.

Measuring 23 cm in length the scoop is impressed with a good set of low marks to the reverse of the handle stem indicating London assay office circa 1799 with the makers mark for William Eley I And William Fearn, also present is the duty mark for King George III.
The Marrow Scoop is in undamaged, original condition more or less, a fine example of the period.
