Possibly Scottish in origin this is a fabulous antique sterling silver buckle brooch or pin set with Montrose agate stones dating from the mid Victorian period circa 1860. The agate is in good order and of a good colour, good detailing to the buckle please see the pictures. The silver has been tested as there are no marks. Good secure c clasp and pin. A wonderful addition to any jewellery collection.
