Silver Cream Jug Antique Georgian Hallmarked London 1817.

Paul Hanley

A George III silver cream jug, plain baluster shaped with a stylised beaded rim on a stepped circular foot, with a scroll S handle. The jug is clearly hallmarked London 1817, although the makers mark is illegible.

The jug is in good antique condition, with some dents and marks to the metal. The inside of the jug was either previously gilt, which has worn over the years, or has a gold-coloured patina. Please see the photos for more details.
