This is a Mauchline ware brooch depicting 42nd Highlanders memorial Aberfeldy.  Mauchline ware was made in the Scottish town of Mauchline for around a 100 years until the factory burnt down in 1933.  There were souvenirs in all shapes and sizes, but the most famous were the little boxes with the invisible hinge. Good secure pin.
