Made by the collectable Scottish jewellery maker Ola M Gorie this is a fantastic Celtic "Tree of Life" brooch or pin in sterling silver dating from 1990. Sat to the top of the tree are a pair of love birds. Ola Gorie is a jewellery maker from Orkney, Scotland, her work draws inspiration from her Orkney's Norse, Pictish, Scottish and Celtic heritage of the island.
The silver is marked to the rear along with her makers mark, the hallmark reads Edinburgh assay along with the date letter for the year 1990. Good secure clasp and pin, good detailing please see the pictures. A wonderful addition to any collection.
