Vinces Vault

Antique early 20th Century Lovely Quality, Russian Manufactured traditional Styled Vodka Cup of a small 'shot' size, tapered to the body from the foot to the brim and finished with nave chased details in the form of a gallery wrap of conjoined, alternating sized diamond cartouches, three of which are engraved with folate work.

In Very good condition for age the cup weighs 17.6 grams or 0.56 Ounces Troy and stands 4.5 cm tall or 1.8 inches and has a diameter at the brim of 3.6 cm or 1.4 inches, the underside to the foot of the cup is impressed with a good clear kokoshnik mark indicating 875 silver purity, Astrakhan assay office (Anton Richter assay master) and the makers mark in Cyrillic.

A Lovely example of the period as well as wonderful addition to any collection of period Slavic silver ware, the cup still being very much useable as originally intended it dates to around circa 1905.
