Antique Georgian period Top Quality, Well Preserved Bachelors Tea Pot in English Sterling Silver finished with Carved, Scottish Horn fittings including handle and lid finial.

The Tea Spot is of a Squat convex roundel pattern and features a banded reed pattern gallery to the body terminating with a mounted spout for pouring, the Horn handle is nicely carved with a cock beading to the edges, similarly the carved horn lid finial is carved and turned finished with its silver turned fitting, flush to the base of the spout is an Engraved crest in the form of a Sacred Heart with Wings enclosed within a traditional Sword Belt with Latin Motto.

Impressed with good clear markings to the base and inside lid for London assay office circa 1824 along with the makers mark for Rebecca Eme's & Edward Barnard I

The Tea Pot stands 9.5 cm tall or 3.8 inches and has a width from handle edge to spout tip of 21.5 cm or 8.5 inches and a body diameter of 14 cm or 5.6 inches.

Of a heavy Gauge the tea pot weighs in at 417 Grams or 13.4 Ounces troy.

The Tea pot is in original condition more or less and is still perfectly useable as well as making for a highly collectible piece of Georgian Era Silver ware and a fine decorators item
