Antique Edwardian period circa 1910 Rare Novelty Biscuit Barrel Featured as a Traditional Coopers Barrel in Frosted Glass mounted with silver plated fittings including an escutcheon mounted , reeded carry handle and removable inset lid which features a large cartouche as a Luggage Label engraved with the legend "Biscuits" the Label is secured to the lid with a static coiled Rope very much after Ships Rigging.
In Very good condition for age, there being no cracks, chips or damages to the glass and only light wear present to the silver plating.
The Barrel with hinged carry handle relaxed and lid in place stands 19 cm tall with a maximum diameter to the body of 12.5 cm.
