Antique Early Victorian Period English Sterling Silver Large Sized Mustard Spoon in the Fiddle Pattern detailed to the handle terminal with a Rare Pagan / Summerland Over-toned Crest Featured as a Duo of arms with cuffed hands clutching a Harvest Bale.

The Reverse to the spoon is impressed with good clear markings indicating London assay office circa 1855 along with the makers mark for Samuel Hayne And Dudley Carter (Successors to a business founded in 1756 by Thomas Wallis) also present is the duty mark for Queen Victoria.

The Spoon measures 14.5 cm in length or 5.8 inches and weighs 20.6 grams or 0.66 ounces Troy.

An interesting piece of collectible antique English silver flatware that will add well to any collection as well as still being perfectly useable at the table, would also serve as a Tincture spoon or similar.
