This wonderful Antique percussion cap eprouvette or powder tester is a unique item . Set with brass box lock and frame engraved with foliate scrolling and attached steel ratchet spring hammer and brass test wheel calibrated from 1 to 6 that is carried by a stunning walnut butt / handle. Offered in good over all condition with general wear as expected and appears to be in fully working order although no gun powder to hand to test it fully.
