Simply charming pair of antique salt & pepper pots in white metal in the shape of a pair of owls with glass eyes. Possibly of German or Austrian Arts& Crafts origin dating from the end of Victorian period. The metal has now darkened and looks more like pewter and they are not marked. Unscrew the top carved detail to open and refill, the photos show the part where they open. Offered in good original condition with both legs intact and pretty sturdy. A talking piece over dinner party for sure.
