Charming pair of spelter with a green & white enamel detail perfume pots dating from the Art Nouveau period from around the 1920's. Of an oriental appearance, the filagree sides allows them to be filled with flower petals or material soaked in a scent to fill your room with a lovely smell. To the base of both they are marked 'JN Taylor Perfumer London'. Jeremiah N Taylor, was a perfumer based at 67 Mortimer Street, Regent Street in London opening on 1st of May 1854 continuing in business from many years into the 20th century.
Great matching pair, 1 is slightly duller in colour than the other. The duller one has a ding to one side which can be felt rather than seen, the top is a little pushed & very slight loss of enamel.The other also has loss of enamel especially to the base.
