This wonderful watercolour painted by artist Thomas J. Coats depicts the Prize Winner Of the Newbury Show and it captures the essence really well and is well painted. The pair of Shire Horses with their beautiful White boots. If you don't know the Shire horse is a British breed of draught horse. It is usually black or bay but can be found with more of a grey tinge. Shires have held world records both Tallest & Largest horses in the world, they are such a magnificent animal. This Watercolour is offered in great condition although the frame does bare some wear and tear ( please see pictures )
