Miniature Cased Daguerrotype of a Gentleman Antique c1860.
This small daguerrotype depicts a young English gentleman whose cheeks have been slightly tinted. It comes in its original morocco leather case and is in nice untouched condition. There is a small flake to the image but would have occurred naturally as the picture is sealed in with the front glass.
Dimensions of frame: 5.2 x 4.6 x 1.5 cm or 2 x 1.8 x 5.9 inches.
Weight: 26 grams or 16.7 penny weight.
