Ideal for your dinner or lunch table, this is a fantastic antique sterling silver jug which could be used for milk or oil, dating from the mid Victorian period with English hallmarks by Josiah Williams & Co (Josiah Williams).
The silver hallmarks can be found to the one side, this is where you see the Exeter assay office mark along with the date letter for the year 1860. This is where you also see the makers mark. In good clean condition, there are some initials inscribed to the front please see the pictures.
