A wonderful commemorative antique sterling silver double sided pendant, fob or medal for "L'Esposizione Internazionale del Sempione", or sometimes "The Great Expo of Work" which opened in Milan on 28 April 1906, running until 31 October and marked the opening of the Simplon Tunnel. The silver has been tested as there are no marks, there may be a makers mark which reads S Johnson to the base of the one side. Requires an additional bale to hang.
