An extremely rare commemorative Limited Edition (no 142) Sterling Silver Leopard figure for the Coronation of Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in 1902 by Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd, limited edition number '142', engraved to underside of left front paw, see pictures. These limited edition silver leopards were commissioned by the Skinners' Company. The guild's crest is a spotted leopard, referred to as 'The Kemp Leopard' after Roger Kemp, who was Master of the Guild in 1680. Engraved to the collar 'Coronation 1902, see pictures. The hallmarks are to the base of the tail and rubbed, see pictures.
