Leather Chatelaine Tool Holder by Garrould London Antique c1900

Mike Loveday

This leather chatelaine dates to the end of the 19th Century and was made by Girrould of London. An eminently practical item in its day this would have held an array of sewing implements for everyday work purposes. It is offered in original condition but the leather straps near the nickel clip are cracked and fragile.

Dimensions: 33 x 10 cm or 13 x 4 inches.

Weight: 53 grams or 34 pennyweight.
