Large Hand Made Tramp Art Wooden Wall Shelves Antique Victorian c1890. An exceptional hand crafted tramp art piece having a beautiful geometric applied finish throughout. An impressive Victorian example being much larger than most tramp art creations. This form of art takes its name from a population of travellers and homeless individuals who would create pieces, often boxes and other smalls, from left over materials such as cigar boxes or crates. The shelves have a wonderful detailed finish throughout and make for an impressive statement piece in any home. There is some expected age related damage and loss to the shelves but this is minimal and does little to detract from the pieces when on display.

Total measurement is 110 x 90 x 24cm
