Charming detailing to this vintage Japanese brooch pin in sterling silver dating from the 1920's.
Satsuma pottery was made in, or around Kagoshima in Kyushu, Japan in the later part of the 19th century, through to the early 1920's in Satsuma in southern Japan. Often belt buckle or  small pottery buttons were worn by Geisha girls and wealthy or powerful people.
The silver has been tested as there are no silver marks. Good secure c clasp & pin.
Size 3.4 x 1.2 cm or 1.3 x 0.5 inches.
Weight 4.2 grams or 2.7 penny weight.
