Horn Beaker with Scottish Silver Mounts Antique c1855

This Victorian beaker is made of horn with a glass base and sterling silver rim and shield. It was made by the Sottish Maker W Dunningham of Aberdeen and was assayed in Edinburgh in 1855. This is offered in good untouched as found condition but the silver rim is loose. The shield is blank.

Dimensions: 8.2 x 12.6 cm or 3.2 x 5 inches.

Weight: 115 grams or 74 pennyweight.
