Graduating Sterling Silver Watch Chain Antique English Edwardian Chester 1917.
Dating from a time when every well dressed gentlemen would hang their pocket watch from their jackets or waistcoats & from the very collectable English assay office Chester, this is a fantastic graduating watch chain in sterling silver with a T bar pendant.
The English hallmark can be found midway along the chain on a link, this is where you see the shield for the Chester assay office along with the date letter for the year 1917. There is also the makers mark for Edwin Page of Hylton Street, Birmingham. The T bar pendant & dog clip clasp both have the date letter for the year 1901, but the same maker as the chain.
To the one end you have a dog clip clasp, this is secure with a good spring.

Graduates 0.7 to 0.4 cm or 0.27 to 0.15 inches.
Weight 18.5 grams or 11.5 penny weight.
