Traditionally a watch chain was used by a gentleman to hang his pocket watch, but today worn as a chunky necklace or used as a charm bracelet, this is a fantastic antique sterling silver graduating Albert watch chain dating from the late Victorian period. The links of the chain are marked with the silver lion, the T bar has a date letter but no assay, the dog clip mark is rubbed. To the one end a T bar pendant, to the other is a dog clip clasp, this is secure. The chain is long enough to ft around my neck. A wonderful antique silver chain.
