Golden Jubilee Royal Crown 9k Gold Pendant Fob Seal Antique Victorian 1887.

Dating from Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee year in 1887, this is a fantastic fob pendant in 9ct yellow gold with a blank bloodstone seal to the base. The pendant depicts the Royal Coronation crown on a pillow. During this time pendant fobs were usually found attached to a gentleman's watch chain a must have item for every well dressed man & what a way to show your loyalty to your sovereign.
The gold has been tested as there are no gold marks. To the top of the bale ring you find a registration number which we are using to date the fob, the registration number is 61503 dating it between the years 1886 - 1887.
To the base of the pendant fob you find a blank bloodstone which could be inscribed with your initials or your family crest. The bloodstone is of a good colour & generally in good order with only very tiny nibbles to the edges which are no visible to the naked eye.
Size 2.4 cm or 0.9 inches.
Size of pillow base 1.4 x 1.2 cm or 0.5 x 0.5 inches.
Weight 3.4 grams or 2.125 penny weight.
