An Interesting German WMF copper lidded and cut glass box. The lid of this art deco box depicts an embossed sailboat and is inscribed 'NRV Elbe 1920/21'. NRV stands for Norddeutcher Regatta Verein' a German sailing club established in 1868. The WMF mark can be found on the inside of the hinges. In excellent condition, no chips or nibbles to the glass and with some verdigris tarnishing to the inside of the lid, see pictures.
