French Art Deco Marble Clock and Garniture Set Vintage c1930
This classic Art Deco clock set dates to around 1930 and is constructed in Marble with a mechanical clock movement. From the asymetic form and dial it is probably French.
Well veined marble was all the fashion at the time and this set is certainly striking. It comes with its matching pair of pillars (garnitures) to balance the look when placed on a mantle.
Please see images but this is offered in original untouched condition. As expected for its age there is some chipping to the base and top of the clock and pillars. The clock is working but appears to run a bit slow so will probably need a service.
