This lovely hand cut silhouette dates to c1900 and says that it was created by Captain Theodore Thorp. Depicting a pair of dogs walking through the countryside the detail here is extremely fine. The frame is missing its stand but otherwise is in good condition.

Dimensions: 20 x 13.5 x 2 cm or 8 x 5.3 x 1 inches.
