Traditionally giving the meaning 'safe home' or ‘to safely return home’. This is a wonderful vintage flying swallow brooch or pin in 835 silver marcasite dating from the Art Deco period, circa 1920. Marked '.835' to the rear for the grade of silver. All the marcasite studs are present and in good order please see the pictures. Good secure clasp and pin. A wonderful vintage swallow brooch.
