Antique Early 19th Superbly hand crafted Solid Silver Bowl set to the floor with a Solid Silver Prussian Thaler Coin for Freidrich II dated to circa 1783 (Freidrich was the monarch of Prussia from 1740 until 1786. He was the last Hohenzollern monarch titled King in Prussia, declaring himself King of Prussia after annexing Royal Prussia from the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth in circa 1772).

The Bowl is of German manufacture itself, the setting of rare or coins pertaining to past Monarchs was quite a trend throughout Europe and indeed England in the late 18th and early to middle part of the 19th century, this particular example no doubt created as a Memento piece during the period,

No Makers marks or otherwise are present to the bowl but it has been tested by our team and is guaranteed Solid Silver.

In Well preserved condition the bowl weighs 100.7 grams or 3.23 ounces troy and stands 3.2 cm tall or 1.25 inches and has a diameter of 10 cm or 4 inches.

A Superb collectible piece of rare silverware that will add handsomely to an existing collection of coin set wares as well as making for an Excellent decorators item, certainly one for the Curio Cabinet.
