Stunning vintage 9ct yellow gold ring set with cabochon cut fiery opals dating from the 1970's. To the inside of the band you see the English hallmark, London assay with the date letter for the year 1970. One stone has a tiny surface chip this is not visible to the naked eye only in a loupe so does not detract, good hues of orange, green and blue, please see the pictures. This vintage opal ring makes a wonderful statement.
