English Pastry Crimper Vintage 1930's.

Stan Knight

This is a lovely example of a traditional English vintage pastry crimper dating from the 1930's. It is showing some signs of wear but this is to be expected for it's age, it is still a very useful and attractive item for the retro kitchen.
The crimper is a utensil that seals the edges of pie crusts and tarts or similar and cuts a neatly fluted edge into the pie crust.
Size 2.3 x 15.4 x 4.9 cm or 0.90 x 6.06 x 1.92 inches.
Weight 44 grams or 28.29 penny weight.
