English Graduating Sterling Silver Albert Watch Chain Necklace Antique 1900 Victorian
Traditionally used by a gentleman to hang his pocket watch from his waistcoat or jacket but today worn as a chunky statement necklace or used as a charm bracelet, this is a great antique graduating sterling silver watch chain dating from the late Victorian period. All the links of the chain are marked with the silver lion, some are rubbed, the T bar and dog clips are marked with the letter 'a' but there is no assay office, however the letter seems to be the Birmingham assay office date letter for the year 1900. To the one ed is a T bar pendant, to the other a dog clip clasp which is secure with a good spring. This chain is long enough to be worn around the neck. A wonderful antique silver watch chain.
