English Chester Hallmark Sterling Silver Graduating Albert Watch Chain Vintage 1931 Art Deco
Traditionally used by a gentleman to hang his pocket watch from, but today often converted into a chain necklace or bracelet, often a charm bracelet, this is a great vintage graduating sterling silver chain dating from the Art Deco period. The links are marked with the silver lion with the English hallmark being found to a link close to the centre of the chain. Stamped with the collectable Chester assay office along with the date letter for the year 1931. To the one end is a secure dog clip clasp with a good spring, to the other a T bar pendant. This chain is not long enough to be worn around an adult neck but could be converted into a bracelet. Wonderful Art Deco chain.
