English Anchor of Hope Pendant Charm in 9k Gold Vintage 1973.



Charming anchor of hope which was a very popular symbol in the Victorian era in 9ct yellow gold pendant or charm with English hallmark for the 1970's a time when charms were again very popular. Today these little works of art have become collectable being worn traditionally as a charm from a bracelet or with a modern twist as a pendant from a necklace.
The English gold hallmark can be found to the rear, this is where you find the date letter 's' but there is no assay office. The maker is 'FM', this maker usually is associated with the London assay office. There is a small indent to the one side see pictures.
Size including bale 1.9 x 1.2 cm or 0.7 x 0.5 inches.
Weight 0.7 grams or 0.43 penny weight.
